2025 Annual Sprinkler Inspection
Dear The Mills at Cortez Hill Residents,
Please be advised that The Mills at Cortez Hill must complete the annual Fire Sprinkler Inspection to recertify their fire sprinkler system for the building compliance by fire code. This will require all units to provide access for an in-unit fire sprinkler inspection. The fire sprinklers will be inspected by Western Fire, and the inspector will notate any sprinkler heads that require replacement. Please ensure that you provide access based on the set schedule on the back of this notice. In addition, Western Fire will not enter any units if someone over the age of eighteen (18) is not present, or if there are dogs loose.
As an alternative, you may drop off a unit key copy at Management’s office located at 750 B Street, Suite #2860, San Diego, CA 92101 (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm). A Key Waiver Form will need to be filled out when dropping off and picking up your key. Keys must be dropped off by 3:00pm on Friday, October 31st. Keys will be available for pick up at the office on Thursday, November 6th after 8:30am.
Any unit that misses the inspection date will require a return trip, in which the owner of the unit is responsible for paying the return trip fee. For any questions regarding this project, please contact mplascencia@actionlife.com.
For the Board of Directors,
Maggy Plascencia

Breaking Down Boxes and Bulk Item Disposal
All boxes regardless of size must be broken down prior to being discarded in the trash room. Do not discard boxes down the trash chute as it will result in chute blockages. In addition, bulk items must be discarded offsite and not in an Association bin. The Association does not offer bulk item disposal. If you are witnessed discarding a bulk item within the Association, you will be called to a Hearing.
Please note that the Association receives overage fees for refuse and recycling exceeding the height of the bin which contributes to the increase in assessments annually.
